I have been teaching yoga as my sole occupation since 2016. I have my advanced teaching certificate as ERYT-500, earned through Alison Rubin. I've taught thousands of hours of private, group and corporate classes. Most recently, I brought a group of 19 students to Costa Rica for a yoga retreat, along with my teaching partner, Lisa Waddle. I will teach this retreat each March, along with a Fall lake retreat each September. I teach weekly classes at Yasodhara Yoga on Wednesdays at 11am and Fridays at 9:30am.
My teaching style is specifically focused on healthy aging and injury prevention through correct alignment. I also aim to continually invite my students into the power of presence in their body and focus on the deep wisdom of yoga philosophy.
I committed myself to an almost daily yoga practice after learning that I was pregnant for the first time in 2007. I wanted to do all that I could to feel vibrant and healthy throughout my pregnancy. Little did I know that I was beginning an amazing journey which would inspire my own body and mind and call me to lead others as a conduit of Yoga.
I am now a Mother of two wonderful teens and have been teaching yoga as my sole occupation since 2016. I also enjoy hiking, spending time with my family, and music. My kids and I practice singing together and also love to travel when we can. It is my yoga and meditation practice, as well as my teaching that continues to feed my personal and spiritual life.
Let me know if I can help you in any way to find what you need from your specific practice.
Thank you for being here!
