About

I am a Mother of two wonderful children and have been teaching yoga as my sole occupation since 2016.  I also enjoy hiking, spending time with my family, and music.  My kids and I practice singing together and also love to travel when we can.  It is my yoga and meditation practice, as well as my teaching that continues to feed my personal and spiritual life.

I committed myself to an almost daily yoga practice after learning that I was pregnant for the first time in 2007.  I wanted to do all that I could to feel vibrant and healthy throughout my pregnancy.  Little did I know that I was beginning an amazing journey which would inspire my own body and mind and call me to lead others as a conduit of Yoga.

I continued practicing Yoga both at home and through Harmony Yoga because my body grew strong and felt better than it had in years, and I was learning to calm my mind and extend a sense of kindness toward myself and others in a way that I had never known.  I began to think of how I could share this with others.

After the birth of my second child in 2011, I began teaching Prenatal Yoga, having trained specifically in Prenatal and Postnatal yoga at the Seattle Holistic Center.  Teaching yoga and establishing a community through my classes nourishes me in so many ways.  I have since earned my RYT-200 and RYT-300, so I have my advanced teaching certificate as RYT-500.  This advanced training helped me to really tune into the specific needs of many different levels of teaching.

Let me know if I can help you in any way to find what you need from your specific practice.

Thank you for being here!
